A group of students have been following the Intermediate Diploma for a year, with some students completing the programme in a year and others continuing to finish off the programme in a second year.

A group of students have been following the Welsh Bac for a year, with some students aiming for the Intermediate Diploma and some for the Advanced Diploma.

In the college there are a number of groups following the Welsh Bac Advanced Diploma; AS/A Levels, AVCE Business, BTEC National Certificate in Business, AVCE Travel and Tourism, BTEC National Certificate in Travel and Tourism.
Coleg Gwent, South East Wales
The college has six sites; Ebbw Vale, Crosskeys, Newport, Pontypool, Usk and Abergavenny, all in Gwent, south east Wales A group of students taking the CACHE Certificate in Childcare and Education at Ebbw Vale campus have been following the Welsh Bac Intermediate Diploma and, some of these students will continue with the CACHE Diploma in September 2004.
