Work-related Education

Work-related Education includes working with an employer and a team enterprise activity.

Students are required to work with an employer for at least 30 hours. This will give them valuable experience of the world of work and they will complete a self-evaluation form to reflect on the experience and what they learnt.

They will also take part in a Team Enterprise Activity for at least 30 hours at the Advanced Level and 15 hours at the Foundation and Intermediate levels, which helps them understand how businesses work and develop entrepreneurial skills.

This component contributes to careers education and guidance by introducing the student to potential career choices and a better idea of what is involved in the world of work.
